Ukraine Launches Missile Attack on Chemical Plant in Bryansk

Bryansk Oblast was subjected to a combined missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the head of the region, Alexander Bogomaz. “All targets were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry,” the governor wrote on his Telegram channel, emphasizing that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.

According to Shot, the Bryansk Chemical Plant, located in the city of Seltso, was attacked. This enterprise, part of the Russian holding Techmash, is engaged in the implementation of state defense orders. The plant specializes in the production of ammunition and missiles of various classes, as well as the assembly of shells for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The plant’s capacity allows it to produce more than 30 types of explosives.

To strike the plant, the AFU used ATACMS missiles, the fragments of which were found on the territory of the enterprise, Shot writes. This information is confirmed by Mash and “war correspondent” Alexander Kots. “Overheard Bryansk” reports that as a result of the shelling, a fire started in one of the private houses in Seltso. Also, according to the public, local residents tried to get into a shelter during the shelling, but it was locked.
