Iran ready to start talks with Trump on lifting sanctions

Iran is ready to resume negotiations with the United States on lifting sanctions if the new American President Donald Trump expresses a desire to do so. This was stated by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic Kazem Gharibabadi on the air of the SNN TV channel.

“Iran, as before, is ready to start or resume negotiations on lifting sanctions. If the other side expresses such a desire, then negotiations will definitely take place,” he answered a question about the possibility of starting a dialogue with Trump.
