A total of 808 trucks with humanitarian aid have arrived in the Gaza Strip, where the enclave has faced severe shortages of food and essential items in recent months due to Israel’s blockade of the northern part, Qatari television channel Al Jazeera reported, citing a report by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
OCHA also noted that efforts to rebuild Gaza are being negatively affected by Israel’s ban on the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
