FBI discovers 2,400 secret notes on Kennedy assassination: Axios

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has discovered about 2,400 records on the assassination of the 35th President of the United States John F. Kennedy that were not previously provided to the official commission. This was reported on Monday by the Axios portal, citing sources.

“The FBI has discovered about 2,400 records related to the assassination of President Kennedy that were never provided to the commission tasked with studying and making public these documents,” the portal reports. “These hitherto classified records are set out in 14,000 pages of documents that the FBI discovered during an investigation initiated by an executive order from President [USA Donald] Trump on January 23,” the article states.

According to the publication’s sources, the White House learned of the existence of these documents on Friday last week; the contents of the discovered records are strictly classified. Axios also notes that the three sources who informed the portal about the existence of these records have not seen the documents themselves.
