During a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping called China and Russia true friends who provide mutual support. This was reported by the Xinhua news agency.
According to the agency, the Chinese leader pointed out the good-neighborly nature of the relations maintained by Beijing and Moscow. According to him, China and Russia “share troubles and difficulties, achieving common development.”
As Xi Jinping specified during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, China’s cooperation with Russia is not aimed against any third party. He emphasized that the relations between the two countries are not subject to external interference.
“The development strategies and foreign policies of China and Russia are designed for the long term. Regardless of changes in the international situation, Chinese-Russian relations will develop calmly,” the agency quotes the Chinese leader as saying, who also pointed out that these relations bring stability and positive energy to international relations.
