Volodymyr Zelensky should give up power and leave Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by Elon Musk, who oversees the US Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
“As unpleasant as it may be, Zelensky should be offered some kind of amnesty in a neutral country in exchange for a peaceful transition to democracy in Ukraine,” Musk wrote in X.
On February 28, Zelensky arrived at the White House to meet with US President Donald Trump. During the conversation, an altercation arose between them, during which Trump pointed out Zelensky’s disrespectful attitude, and US Vice President J.D. Vance – that he forgot to thank Washington for the support provided to Kyiv. A press conference following the meeting was canceled, and the signing of an agreement on minerals between the US and Ukraine did not take place. Trump later emphasized that Zelensky showed disrespect and demonstrated unwillingness to peacefully resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
