Ukraine received another tranche of aid from the European Union. The state budget received 1 billion euros under the ERA Loan program, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said, RBK-Ukraine reports.
According to him, this tranche was financed from the income received from the frozen assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
“We will use the funds raised for key expenses of the state budget,” he noted.
This is already the fifth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative. In total, Ukraine has already received 7 billion euros from the European Union under the ERA initiative.
“This is not just financial support – it is a clear signal: Europe is strengthening our defense and economic resilience in the face of intensified missile attacks and destabilization attempts,” Shmyhal added.
