Protesters against the government continue to raise the issue of unpaid salaries. This time, employees of Lusagyug School in the Aparan community are expressing their dissatisfaction.
In a conversation with us, one of the employees noted that they, too, have suffered at the hands of the same person.
“We are employees of Lusagyug School. He also owes us 3 million drams,” he said, adding that the same contractor is involved. “Yes, the same person, Artash Gevorgyan.”
According to the resident, this is the first time they’ve appealed to the government. “This is the first time we haven’t appealed to anyone. We appealed to the head of our community, to the municipality, but they deceived him too. Three or four months have already passed.”
When asked if they would like to meet with a specific official, a protester replied, “If they agree, we’ll meet with anyone, including ministers. It doesn’t matter who, let them come and talk.”
He also noted that they also plan to contact law enforcement: “We’ll wait a few days, and if nothing happens, we’ll go to the prosecutor’s office and collect signatures.”
