Peskov Comments on Trump’s Threat of “Striking Right in the Center of Fucking Moscow”

Journalists asked Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov to comment on statements by US presidential candidate and former White House chief Donald Trump that he allegedly threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin to strike Moscow if Russia pursued Ukraine.

“We still prefer to state a very responsible position in terms of not making public the content of conversations that are being held at the highest level,” Peskov responded, Interfax reports.

“A number of world leaders do not adhere to such a position and do not observe such information “hygiene” in this case,” the Kremlin representative continued. “Of course, there are now many heated and very emotional statements being made in the United States as part of the election campaign,” Peskov added.

On Monday, Russian media drew attention to a Wall Street Journal article published on October 18. Trump spoke with the publication’s journalists and, among other things, claimed that he had threatened Putin to strike Moscow.
