The Military Commissariat of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reports that on the night of December 19-20 at 2:00 a.m. local time a fire was recorded on Vilyuisky Lane.
The fire occurred in the detention center where servicemen who left their units without permission are being held.
7 people were injured due to smoke inhalation – they are in the hospital, doctors are providing them with all the necessary assistance. 5 people died, their identities are being established.
According to the Military Commissariat, the cause of the fire is being investigated.
