One person has been arrested in connection with the death of a border guard in the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia. NEWS.am was informed about this by Kima Avdalyan, press secretary of the RA Investigative Committee.
“A criminal case has been initiated against one person under Article 522, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The latter has been arrested,” he said.
Recall that on April 28, it became known that a criminal case had been initiated on the fact of the death of a border guard under Article 522, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia – driving a serviceman to suicide through negligence while on combat duty or in military service.
On April 25, the National Security Service reported that, according to preliminary data, A.A., a conscript of one of the border units of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia in the Syunik region, died as a result of a gunshot wound from a machine gun attached to him.
