The European Commission (EC) is launching an airlift operation to deliver emergency humanitarian aid to the people of Syria. This was reported by the EC press service.
“The European Commission is launching a new operation, the Humanitarian Airlift, to reach those most in need in Syria, to deliver emergency medical aid and other essential items, and to increase humanitarian funding,” the EC said in a statement.
