A $7,000 bicycle has Torosyan exhausted: who will buy it?

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, former Communist Party MP Arsen Torosyan, has decided to update his bicycle collection. In his latest video posted on social media, he proudly shows off his German-made Canyon Aeroad, emblazoned with his name and surname, as well as the Armenian flag.

For the average person, a bicycle costing 3 million drams (around $7,000) would seem like the pinnacle of their dreams, but not for him. Torosyan has made it clear that this isn’t the end of the world, and he’s willing to sell this “modest” vehicle to buy a more expensive, more “aerodynamic” model.

The minister’s bicycle is a professional sports machine. If this model is already “outdated” for Torosyan, the next step would likely be a $12,000 (around 5 million drams) Canyon CFR or a Pinarello Dogma.

Well, the roads in Armenia may be uneven, but the price of Torosyan’s bike is definitely “smoothly” rising.

One can only hope that after the purchase of a new bike, the rate of appreciation will accelerate so much that MP will finally achieve that bright future that’s been so much talked about.

In the meantime, you can save up. Who knows, maybe Torosyan will give you his old, but brand-name bike at a low price.
