A group of Artsakh residents entered the government building; the issues they raised will be discussed in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

The members of the RPA Council entered the building of the RA government, where they will hold a meeting in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. The interests of the residents of Artsakh will also be represented by Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan.

The residents of Artsakh also sent a letter with a demand to the RA government.

It should be noted that after yesterday’s rally, the “Council for the Protection of the Rights of the Residents of Artsakh” decided to move from Freedom Square to the area opposite the government building.

It should be noted that those who spoke at the rally on July 12 touched upon the social problems of the residents of Artsakh, in particular, the housing program, the return of Armenian prisoners of war from Baku, as well as the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh.

According to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, 115,365 people have been forcibly displaced from Artsakh since September 2023.

As of July 3, 9,346 of them have received citizenship of the Republic of Armenia.
