On March 8, the embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate general in Dubai organized and carried out a free transfer for seven Armenian citizens to Oman, reported Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan.

She also noted:

“Today, a diplomat from the Armenian embassy in Oman met Armenian citizens at the UAE-Oman border, facilitating their border crossing and transfer to Muscat Airport. The Muscat-Yerevan flight is scheduled for late evening.”

A total of 253 Armenian citizens took advantage of five free passenger transfers to Muscat organized by the Armenian embassy in the UAE and the consulate general in Dubai from March 4 to 10.

During this period, Armenian citizens with health issues also sought the support of the Armenian embassy in the UAE, with whom they were in constant contact to resolve urgent issues. Three citizens with health issues and their family members returned to the Republic of Armenia free of charge on a Muscat-Yerevan flight with the support of the embassy.
