Al Jazeera: 60 Palestinians killed in Israeli attack in Gaza

At least 60 Palestinians have been killed in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, and more than 150 people have been injured. This was reported by the Qatari television channel Al Jazeera, citing the Palestinian enclave’s Health Ministry. According to the data cited by the channel, Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have killed at least 60 people, and the death toll continues to rise as the Israel Defense Forces continue to strike the central part of the enclave, as well as the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, where many residential buildings and infrastructure have been destroyed as a result of the bombing.

The Gaza Strip Health Ministry also reported 152 wounded people taken to hospitals and clinics in the region over the past 24 hours. The ministry notes that many victims remain under rubble and on the streets, and ambulances and civil defense personnel cannot reach them.

According to medical data, the total number of people killed as a result of Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip since the conflict escalated on October 7, 2023, has risen to 51,355. At least 117,248 people have been injured. The number of people killed since March 18, 2025, when Israel resumed military operations in the enclave after a ceasefire, has reached 1,978, with over 5,200 people injured.
