A decision has been made to transfer the report of the investigative commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war to the National Assembly archives. This was announced by NA Speaker Movses Harutyunyan.
“There is a timeframe discrepancy, and the report cannot be included in the agenda of the plenary sessions,” he noted.
Previously, Investigative Commission Chairman Andranik Kocharyan stated that the report of the investigative commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war also missed deadlines, but a decision was made then, and the same should be done in this case. He stated that if the report exists, and it does, then, according to the NA Rules of Procedure, it should be included in the agenda of the NA plenary session.
National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan disagrees. He stated that the issue would be considered at closed hearings.
