Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Aliyev and thanked Azerbaijan for its condolences and support.
He noted that last night, Russia used hundreds of drones and missiles, including ballistic missiles, against Ukraine. Unfortunately, there was destruction and damage, including to the Azerbaijani embassy. Zelenskyy emphasized that Aliyev condemns the attack and noted that this is not the first time Russia has attacked the embassy building and other facilities associated with Azerbaijan.
“We also discussed bilateral relations and the development of partnership. Now the green light has been given to all areas of cooperation. The potential is great, and we intend to realize it,” Zelenskyy noted.
