An atmosphere of pressure, political vendetta, and impunity for the “chosen ones” has developed in Armenia. RPA Supreme Body

In the context of a criminal-dominated system built by a capitulator who has assumed the post of prime minister, even the most egregious murders, repressions against opposition figures, persecution of political opponents, including imprisonment, clear cases of distortion of justice, the exploitation of the law enforcement system solely for personal gain, and numerous other vicious manifestations no longer come as a surprise. This is stated in a statement by the RPA Supreme Body.

An atmosphere of intimidation, pressure, political vendetta, impunity for the “chosen ones,” and thus the encouragement of lawlessness, which breeds new crimes, has developed in Armenia.

The murder of Volodya Grigoryan, the principled mayor of Merdzavan and an opposition figure, in front of his own home on the night of September 23, regardless of the reasons, is proof and a signal sent by the gunshots of the defenselessness of Armenian citizens, especially those with opposition views. The goal is one: to intimidate, silence, and eliminate any individual or force whose thoughts extend beyond the current demoralized and anti-national system of power, without stopping the sharp rise in crime in the country.

We declare that we will not remain silent and will not retreat until we overthrow this capitulating and immoral government.

We call on all healthy political forces, individuals, and all members of our society concerned about the current situation to speak out, unite, and act immediately to end the murderous reign of Armenia’s rulers.
