Apple intends to develop a TV

After a break of more than a decade, Apple again intends to produce a TV. After an unsuccessful attempt in 2009-2011, the company is trying to enter the TV market for the second time. This is reported by MacRumors, citing insider and Bloomberg correspondent Mark Gurman.

According to Gurman, Apple is considering the idea of creating a TV under its own brand, which could become part of a new line of smart home devices. However, as the expert notes, the project is in a very early stage of development, and it may take years before it enters production.

If Apple TV is successfully launched, it will open up new opportunities for the company to compete in the television market. Currently, Apple offers only the Apple TV streaming box that connects to the TV.

The Apple TV is expected to be more deeply integrated into the ecosystem of Apple devices, as well as have a premium design. However, it is not known how the company will compete with other TV brands in terms of screen specifications, features and price. Apple co-founder Steve Jobs previously expressed ambitions to create a TV with a simple interface. However, in 2010, current Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that the company was not interested in entering this market.
