Ararat Mirzoyan, who lived under the mandatory payment system before coming to power, is known for his rather lavish lifestyle.
During the Communist Party election campaign last weekend, Mirzoyan wore expensive clothes: a wool jacket from the luxury brand Brunello Cucinelli and a vest that retails for $5,955, or over 2 million drams, in European online stores.
Thus, since coming to power, he has already acquired luxury real estate worth approximately 112 million drams. In 2024, Mirzoyan’s wife, Gohar Abajyan, purchased a 2024 BMW from the German dealership Michael Schmidt for €39,405.46.
I wonder what Ararat Mirzoyan, who wears a vest that costs roughly four years of an Armenian pensioner’s pension, thinks: is there corruption in Armenia or not? Or did he also buy this vest on credit?
