Recently, I’ve been hearing excuses, supposedly coming from “above,” that replacing conscripts with contract soldiers also increases the effectiveness of combat missions.
Let no one attempt to cast aspersions on conscripts and the service they have performed over the past three decades.
From combat operations to repelling sabotage and large-scale military operations, our conscripts have carried out brilliant operations and accomplished heroic feats both on the borders of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh. It’s no coincidence that many of them have been awarded high state awards.
Therefore, in order to hide your failures and harmful changes, you should not underestimate the merits and service of conscripts, and especially you should not treat them with reservations.”
