In recent days, I have met several times the relatives of those who went missing as a result of the two Artsakh wars and the explosion of the Stepanakert fuel warehouse in 2023. Suzanna Avetisyan, deputy of the opposition "Strong Armenia" faction, announced this at the session of the National Assembly on October 6. As the deputy noted, those families have not celebrated birthdays, New Year, or any other holiday for years. "They can't even eat a piece of bread because they don't know if their fathers, brothers and sons are alive. If they are alive, have they eaten anything at all today or not," Avetisyan said. In particular, the MP called on the authorities to take immediate steps to return the Armenian prisoners held in Baku and find the missing ones before it is too late. According to the parliamentarian, the Armenian side should not wait for the signing of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan. All the above steps require an urgent solution.
