US President Donald Trump claims that he will have a lot of power after the end of his presidential term. "You know, we have a little more than two years left. Can you believe it? But when I'm gone, I'm going to have a lot of power, and I'm going to make sure that you stay on top," Trump told voters in Iowa. The next US presidential election should be held in 2028. Trump previously did not rule out the possibility of re-election for a third term and stated that "there are ways" through which he will be able to run. At the same time, one of the amendments to the US Constitution states that no one can hold the office of president for more than two four-year terms. Trump's current term is already the second.
