As Prime Minister, I completely reject the agenda of restoring historical justice. Pashinyan

The authorities of Armenia and Karabakh are holding Karabakh residents hostage for unclear reasons, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in a conversation with reporters.

“I urge you to abandon this logic of refugees and immigrants, because we have returned home, and the Republic of Armenia is our home. We must defend our home and not constantly view the Republic of Armenia as a temporary refuge for returning to various corners of the world,” Pashinyan said.

When asked whether Azerbaijan had committed ethnic cleansing against the population of Artsakh, Pashinyan responded:

“I consider such talk harmful. We can talk about ethnic cleansing, we can repeat talk about ethnic cleansing, and then about genocide. This means entering the path of conflict. This is not my concern; my concern is what to do so that our people displaced from Karabakh can find peace, a home, work, security, and freedom.”

Pashinyan stated that, as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, he categorically rejects the program of restoring historical justice.

“I categorically reject the so-called program of restoring historical justice. I believe we should strive for a just reality, not historical justice.”
