Azerbaijan has begun work to withdraw its diplomatic personnel from Iran, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced.
“Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has decided to completely withdraw the country’s diplomatic personnel from Iran.
This applies to both the embassy in Tehran and the consulate general in Tabriz. Work is currently underway in this direction,” Bayramov said at a press conference.
