Azerbaijan intends to strengthen cooperation with the US in the field of security and technology in accordance with the agreements reached with Armenia at the trilateral summit in Washington on August 8, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim told Axios.
According to him, Azerbaijan plans to create working groups and develop relations with the US in all areas: economy, energy, defense, politics, education, technology and artificial intelligence.
“Let’s open a new page. We will work together, and not only on the Armenia-Azerbaijan line, but also in developing relations between Azerbaijan and the US,” the diplomat said.
Ibrahim thanked US President Donald Trump for advancing the peace process, stressing that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize not 100%, but 101%.
“In a very short period of time, about six months, he managed to do what others had not been able to do for more than 30 years,” the Azerbaijani ambassador noted.
