March WTI futures rose $0.05 (0.07%) to $70.79 per barrel on electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange NYMEX. During the previous session, the contract fell $0.55 (0.8%) to $70.74 per barrel.
Last week, Brent rose 0.1%, and WTI fell 0.4%, ending the fourth week in a row in the red.
