Corruption Prevention Commission Member Lilit Aleksanyan resigned on October 13.
According to the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” Lilit Aleksanyan’s powers terminate in the manner and timeframe established by law upon the acceptance of her resignation by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
“Lilit Aleksanyan was appointed a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission in November 2019 and, for nearly six years, made a significant contribution to its establishment and the development of the anti-corruption system. Lilit Aleksanyan has decided to pursue a different career.
The Corruption Prevention Commission expresses its gratitude to Ms. Aleksanyan for her productive work and dedication and wishes her success in her future professional endeavors,” the statement reads.
