Yesterday, another ambitious peace plan was presented to the world. The centuries-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Gaza Strip was declared resolved, according to US President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan. Artak Zakarian, a member of the Supreme Council of the Republican Party of Armenia and former Deputy Minister of Defense, wrote this on his Facebook page.
He noted, in particular: “According to the plan, Gaza will become a deradicalized zone, free of terrorism and posing no threat to its neighbors.
Gaza will be restored, and the well-being of its residents will be ensured.
If the parties agree to this proposal, the war will end. Israeli troops, along with the release of prisoners, will withdraw their forces from the agreed-upon line. During this time, all military operations and bombings will be suspended.
Following the public acceptance of this agreement, all prisoners will be returned within 72 hours.
Following their release, Israel will release 250 life-sentenced prisoners, as well as 1,700 Gazans arrested since October 7, 2023.
Following the return of all prisoners, Hamas representatives who agree to peaceful coexistence and disarmament will be granted amnesty. Those who wish to leave Gaza will be granted safe passage to host countries.
Following the implementation of the agreement, UN humanitarian missions will operate in Gaza.
Gaza will be governed by a transitional authority—a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian Committee—responsible for the provision of public services and the operation of Gaza’s municipal government.
The Committee will be composed of qualified Palestinians and international experts under the guidance and oversight of a new international transitional body, the Peace Council, chaired by US President Donald Trump.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and other leaders will also participate in the Council’s work. The Council will develop a plan for the reconstruction and financing of Gaza until the Palestinian Authority completes the necessary reforms. International investment projects in Gaza will be encouraged and supported to improve living conditions and create new jobs.
No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and the rights of all will be respected.
The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, and other Arab countries issued a joint statement welcoming US President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the war in Gaza.
Arab and Islamic countries supporting Palestine and Gaza essentially welcome Trump’s plan. He also welcomes Israel, which fulfills its five core conditions. These are:
– The return of all hostages, both living and dead.
– Disarmament of Hamas.
– Demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.
– Israeli security control over the Gaza Strip.
– An alternative civilian government, without Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.
This Israeli example demonstrates that for a true leader, the national interests of their country are always achievable.
Countries with leaders like Nikol pay with territory, lives, dignity, sovereignty, and a dependent future. Just look at the recent years of Armenia, Ukraine, and soon Moldova.
And stable leaders who act in accordance with national interests and agendas not only receive support and encouragement from their friends but are also respected and taken into account by their opponents.
