Davit Hambardzumyan will remain our candidate in the impeachment case, as a candidate for prime minister. This was stated by the 3rd President Serzh Sargsyan after the court hearing in his case.
“The verdict regarding Davit Hambardzumyan has not yet entered into legal force, naturally, the lawyers will appeal, and in the meantime all his rights are protected,” he noted.
It should be noted that Davit Hambardzumyan was detained yesterday at Zvartnots Airport.
Hambardzumyan was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison.
