Denmark calls drone incident the largest attack on the country’s infrastructure.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called the discovery of drones disrupting operations at Copenhagen Airport “the most serious attack on Denmark’s critical infrastructure to date.”

“What we saw last night is the most serious attack on Denmark’s critical infrastructure to date. We are not ruling out any theories about who is behind it.”

Earlier, the airport control center at Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, announced the temporary closure of the airport. Reuters later reported, citing Danish police, that the airport had resumed operations. Reuters also reported that the airport had diverted at least 31 flights due to the drones.

Danish police said they had no information about who was operating the drones. Law enforcement agencies said they were investigating a possible connection to the incident in Norway. Oslo Airport also suspended operations for more than three hours after the drone was spotted.
