I consider myself a successor to the Great Patriotic War and a supporter of the Armenian-Russian allied relations.
In fact, the Nicolaitans and Westerners took the participation of the Republican Party in the symposium dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in Moscow very seriously.
One thing is obvious. The Armenian people made a significant contribution to the victory over fascism.
Hundreds of thousands of Armenians gave their lives for the Great Victory.
Armenia and the Armenian people gave the world more than 100, or more precisely 114 heroes of the USSR (4 in the Soviet-Finnish War, 103 in the Great Patriotic War and 7 after the Armenian-Turkish War).
The names of Anastas and Artem Mikoyan, Marshals Baghramyan, Babajanyan, Khanperyants, Admiral of the USSR Isakov are inscribed in gold letters on the pages of the history of the Great Victory.
Of the national divisions, only the Armenian 89th Taman Division (commander Nver Safaryan) participated in the capture of Berlin.
The war of 1941-1945 was truly the Great Patriotic War for our people.
It is already common knowledge that after the possible victory of the fascists in Stalingrad, Turkey planned to cross the border and occupy Soviet Armenia, completing the genocide.
And it is stupid to think that the Republican Party should not have participated in the Moscow symposium.
It is also a fact that Europe was liberated from fascism, first of all, thanks to the heroism of the Soviet soldier.
Not to appreciate this means to show ignorance and ingratitude.
Regarding Armenian-Russian relations:
Armenia has two external threats: Azerbaijan and Turkey.
And the Armenian-Russian allied relations allowed our country to remain largely free from the Turkish threat for 30 years.
Let me remind you that back in 1992-1993, the Russian Federation thwarted Turkey’s plans to attack Armenia at least three times.
Numerous declassified documents testify to this.
Currently, the Armenian-Turkish border is guarded by the 102nd Russian military base, the term of which was extended in 2010 at the initiative of Serzh Sargsyan until 2044.
It was thanks to the efforts of Serzh Sargsyan that Armenia became a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, the positive fruits of which the citizens of Armenia reap to this day.
I repeat, the Armenian-Russian allied relations are based on the national and state interests of the Republic of Armenia.
And we will continue to deepen the RPA-United Russia inter-party ties, focusing on the state interests of the Republic of Armenia.
And the goal of the Nikolists and Westerners to turn Armenia into an anti-Russian bridgehead is based exclusively on the interests of the opponents and enemies of Armenia.
Armenia should not become an anti-Russian stronghold and a Turkish vilayet.
