Since February 28, 10 citizens have contacted the Armenian Embassy in Israel requesting assistance in returning to Armenia.
This was reported by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On March 25, the eight citizens were transported to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on a special bus organized by the Armenian Embassy in Israel, from where they will fly directly to Yerevan.
Two Armenian citizens expressed their intention to return to Armenia after fulfilling their contractual obligations.
The Armenian Ambassador and Consul in Egypt met the Armenian citizens at the Taba checkpoint on the Israeli-Egyptian border and escorted them to Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport, providing the necessary assistance.
The citizens departed for Armenia on the morning of March 26 on a Sharm el-Sheikh-Yerevan flight.
