EU to provide Ukraine with at least three years of self-defense measures, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Baron said
“Indeed, in the coming weeks, we intend to provide Ukraine with at least three years of self-defense measures, through a loan provided to Ukraine by the European Commission, which will be repaid in due course through compensation paid to Ukraine by Russia,” Baron said ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.
The foreign minister also suggested that European officials start working on a 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
