Even the State Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia notes that the basis of the state policy of Azerbaijan is most likely the agenda of territorial claims to the Republic of Armenia. Abrahamyan

The report of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Armenia states that after the Washington Agreement of August 2025, talk about the so-called “West Azerbaijan” has become more frequent in Azerbaijan. Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the “I have honor” faction, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“Firstly, this statement, which seems strange, is, of course, true and recorded as a fact by specialists and journalists who follow the Azerbaijani press, and especially the publications there concerning the Republic of Armenia.

The same report gives two reasons for these aggressive language against RA: manifestation of territorial claims or opposition to the Artsakh issue.
In the context of the sharp turn of the Armenian government and abandonment of the Artsakh issue, the role of the factor countering this topic is significantly reduced.
It turns out that even the Armenian state intelligence agency is recording that the basis of Azerbaijan’s state policy is most likely an agenda of territorial claims against Armenia, in the direction of which “research is underway,” he wrote.
