At 7:01 AM on November 18, the crisis management center of the Armavir Regional Rescue Department received a call about a residential building collapsing at the intersection of Mravyan and Nalbandyan Streets in the city of Vagharshapat, trapping a citizen. Rescuers needed assistance.
A fire brigade from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Emergency Situations responded to the scene.
It was determined that an explosion occurred in a house on Nalbandyan Street (approximately 60 square meters in area) due to a gas leak, and the house collapsed.
Rescuers cordoned off the area, rescued one citizen from the rubble, and brought him to an ambulance.
