As of 10:00 AM on October 12, rescue services continue to extinguish the fire. To prevent the fire from spreading, approximately 1,100 tons of water have been used and approximately 500 excavation operations have been completed, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service.
Nine fire brigades and two task forces, a total of 43 rescuers, are involved in extinguishing the fire, along with Yerevan City Hall resources, including water supply and utility equipment.
There are smoldering pockets.
Firefighting efforts continue at an intensive pace.
