“I met with Ashot Minasyan, commander of the Sisakan detachment, in Vardashen Prison, and with Vahagn Chakhalyan in Nubarashen Prison,” reports Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the “I Have Honor” faction of the National Assembly.
“Chakhalyan, as always, was steadfast. Although he considers the illegal actions against him unfair and illegal in every respect, he has become accustomed to such treatment by the regime.
According to the latter, the end result is victory, the foundation of which must be the active and productive participation of all possible segments of society.”
“Ashot Minasyan’s name and prison are incompatible, and although the latter, as expected, is perceived as political persecution, I myself in no way accept this.
Freedom for Ashot Minasyan, Vahagn Chakhalyan, and all political prisoners in prison,” the opposition MP remarked.
