Georgian authorities have taken a step in Georgian-American relations and are now awaiting a response from the United States. This was stated by the Speaker of Parliament, according to Sputnik Georgia.
“We said what we wanted to say: we contacted you and are awaiting a response. The sooner it comes, the better for Georgian-American relations.
We continue our work, and everyone who wants to be friends with us knows very well what kind of friendship we are capable of, and the United States knows this better than anyone,” Shalva Papuashvili emphasized.
Georgian government officials have repeatedly stated their readiness to resume relations, but have not yet received a response.
