Henrik Danielyan’s Analysis: Military Power or State Plunder

Nikol Pashinyan not only handed over Artsakh and $6 billion worth of weapons, but also plundered funds that could have been used to rebuild an army that could defend the country.
If Nikol’s government had not plundered the country, then with $7 billion that was effectively wasted over the past 6 years, Armenia could have the following military potential:
I. $4 Billion Super Air Defense System

• S-300PMU2 / S-350 Vityaz – 6 divisions (48 stations)
Enough to cover major parts of the entire territory of the Republic.
Medium and short-range air defense
• BUK-M3 – 6 divisions (48 stations)

• PANCIR-S1/S2 – 36 systems

II. The $3 billion strike drone system
Iranian drones

• Shahed-136 (kamikaze) – 1,500 units

With $7 billion, Armenia would have:

• More than 4000 UAVs, including strike, kamikaze and reconnaissance
• Strategic defense without fear, not defeatism․
