Yemeni Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah movement launched a “hypersonic ballistic missile” at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, a spokesman for the rebels’ armed forces, Yahya Saria, said.
“The Yemeni armed forces’ missile forces carried out a special military operation, attacking Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area (Tel Aviv) with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The missile reached its target, and the operation resulted in casualties and the cessation of navigation at the airport,” said the movement’s spokesman, whose statement was broadcast by the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel.
Saria also said that Ansar Allah forces destroyed a “critical Israeli enemy target” in the Tel Aviv area with a drone strike. According to him, the attack was a response to the Israeli strike on the territory Yemen, which is controlled by the Houthis. “The armed forces have the capabilities to expand the list of targets in occupied Palestine to include more critical facilities belonging to the enemy. Our operations will continue until the aggression in Gaza stops,” he added.
