The US vice president said he couldn’t predict how or when the war in Ukraine would end.
“If you had asked me about six months ago, I would have said that the fighting between them would never stop… they would still be fighting 15 years later. If you had asked me a month ago, I would have said that we’ve made incredible progress,” Vance said on the New York Post’s Pod Force One podcast.
Vance added that Washington is seeking to maintain constructive relations with both Russia and Ukraine because it is interested in ending the conflict.
