At a press briefing today, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan congratulated everyone on the historic visit of the US Vice President, the agreements reached, and the opportunities that, he said, have opened up for Armenia.
Regarding the return of prisoners, Simonyan noted that work is underway that is not discussed publicly. “Nothing has changed in tactics. They constantly talk about prisoners, the fate of missing persons, and all the problems. I commend the approach we have adopted with regard to Azerbaijan, and I believe that if we continue on this path, the two countries will no longer have problems in the near future.”
