“I find this incredible, but I still want to hope that at today’s Security Council meeting (where most of them pose an immediate threat to the country), they had at least a minimal understanding of the new challenges and threats facing Armenia.
The situation around our country and in the region is quite complex and fraught with multi-scenario developments.
The war may not last long, but it has already gained momentum and created a new situation for the region. I believe questions will arise about reconsidering relations between regional states, including in the areas of security, communications, energy, and civilization.
Until then, there are important issues that Armenia must be able to resolve.
a) maintaining neutrality
b) readiness to prevent possible provocations by Turkish-Azerbaijani and other interested parties
c) not turning it into a springboard for “score-settling” between various services and other interests
d) managing potential refugee flows and, in the event of chaotic developments and an increase in their volume, preventing them
e) identifying preliminary solutions for potential issues related to food and fuel supplies.
