Today, the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State is taking place in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also participating.
During the meeting, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko joked with Aliyev, saying they were worried that Nikol Pashinyan might not attend.
“I said, ‘Nikola Vovayevich can’t go anywhere without us, and you were worried,'” Lukashenko told Aliyev.
