Publication by Armen Ashotyan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia.
“Armenia is a genuine European civilizational territory with its own history, culture, value system, and faith.
Today’s Europe, alongside its identity crisis, is facing geopolitical challenges, beginning to sacrifice values for interests, principles for pragmatism.
And today’s Armenia, with its “leader” indulging his dictatorial tendencies, is at the center of the practical implementation of this policy.
Sometimes I get the impression that I love the European civilizational heritage more than some European officials called upon to protect it.
And the Armenia of the future must be a state with genuine European values: dignified, democratic, competitive, and modern, without political prisoners, respecting fundamental human freedoms, and founded on Christian values. “We created a document and a roadmap to achieve this goal in the fall of 2017, thanks to the efforts of Serzh Sargsyan, but the barbaric leader of the regime destroyed this project of real reforms in Armenia, turning Armenia’s European integration into an ethnocultural one.” Papua Newt.
I will continue to speak about the shameful situation in our country abroad, this time at the EPP political conference.”
