“If forces are found that remove Nikol Pashinyan, I will applaud them.” Eduard Sharmazanov

“In Armenia’s modern history, there has never been an opposition that fought harder than this one. It’s just that during the eras of Ter-Petrosyan, Kocharyan, and Sargsyan, when Armenia was backsliding on democracy, international organizations and embassies left no stone unturned, criticizing and criticizing. Today, it doesn’t exist,” Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the RPA executive committee, told the “There Are Questions” program.

“What should the parliamentary opposition do that it isn’t doing?” If it doesn’t work, there are extra-parliamentary forces; let them do it themselves. The fact is, at this stage, there is no more effective opposition than the parliamentary opposition. If forces, several wings, are found that can remove or facilitate Nikol Pashinyan’s removal, I will applaud them.

After all, the Republican Party is one of the unique opposition forces that has declared that it is not coming to power, not returning to power, but has as its goal a change of power.
