Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the EEF-2025.
“No one has yet seriously discussed security guarantees from Russia,” Putin said in his speech.
According to him, Russia will respect the security guarantees being developed for Russia and Ukraine. Putin stressed that after an agreement on a stable peace, the presence of foreign troops in Ukraine makes no sense.
“It is unlikely that Kiev will have the political will to reach an agreement. Kiev recently ruled out the possibility of contacts with Russia, and now they are asking for such contacts. It will be almost impossible to reach an agreement with the Ukrainian side on key issues,” the Russian president noted.
Putin also said that he is ready for contacts with the Ukrainian side, but sees no point.
