15 historical and cultural objects located in Yerevan and in various regions of Armenia received the status of monuments. The relevant decision was taken at the meeting of the expert commission of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.
As reported by News of Armenia – NEWS.am in the press service of the Ministry, the status of monuments of local significance in Yerevan received the buildings of the former cinema “Nairi”, the primary school N55. A. Chekhov and the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences.
The status of monuments of local importance was also given to the “building of a Chinese book shop” in the city of Vanadzor in the Lori region, the Ambar mill in the village of Chiva in the Vayotszor region (XIII-XIV centuries), a number of huts, cemeteries and other objects in different regions of Armenia.
